Consultation
Change Readiness Assessment
A focused diagnostic that surfaces where people, managers, and sponsors are prepared — and where a planned change will snag — before you announce.
Purpose
Leaders often assume the organisation is “ready” because the business case is sound. Readiness is different: it asks whether managers can explain the change, whether teams trust the process, and whether workload allows people to absorb new ways of working.
What you receive
- Structured interview guide tailored to your change type
- Findings summary with themes, not raw transcripts
- Heat map of readiness by cohort (sponsors, middle managers, frontline)
- Prioritised recommendations for the six to eight weeks before announcement
Delivery
We typically interview 12–20 people across roles, review existing communications drafts, and facilitate a half-day findings session with sponsors. Optional: a short briefing for the wider leadership team.
Best paired with
Many clients move from this assessment into our Organisational Change Programme once gaps are clear. Others use the findings to adjust timing before any external consulting continues.
